Wildlife
The California Chaparral is home to a large variety of wildlife. Many varieties of plants can be found along with a variety of insects, mammals, birds, and reptiles. The chaparral is also home to the California Condor, a critically endangered species. Originally, the chaparral was home to the California Grizzly Bear, but the last one was seen in 1924. Visitors may have a difficult time finding some of the animal species, but should still be able to see a large amount of flora and fauna.
